WHO RECEIVES OUR HANDBAGS OF HOPE?

 

Every Holiday Season, Abuse Hurts hands out toys from our annual toy drive. These toys go to children in various agencies that we serve and Abuse Hurts also likes to send something along to the mothers and other women in the shelters to encourage them and let them know they are not forgotten. These lovely handbags are filled with both essential and practical things for women, like toiletries, make-up, and personal hygiene items.

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

 

You can help make this program a huge success by donating a new or gently used handbag stuffed with items from our list below and drop it off at any of the locations listed on this page.

If you are not able to donate a filled handbag, you can just donate the handbag and we can fill them. Or you can supply the items and we can put them in a handbag to complete the package!

If you’d like to skip the handbag and the items altogether, you can simply support by making a donation to Abuse Hurts!

CAMPAIGN LAUNCH EVENT

 

Join us on September 16 from 10am to 2pm for our campaign launch event at Abuse Hurts Head Office! There will be light refreshments and tours of the facility. Meet some of the staff and volunteers and learn more about Abuse Hurts and what programs and services we offer.

Then, head down to our Hope Boutique thrift shop and help support the charity by getting some great deals – maybe even purchase  a handbag you can fill and donate back!
