EmpowerWeb was created for those impacted by intimate partner violence, their friends, family and community partners working toward prevention. Our goal is to break isolation, provide knowledge and connection and to strengthen collaboration in York Region.

We know that finding the right information can feel overwhelming, which is why we’ve made it simple. Our short, easy-to-follow information sessions provide you with the guidance you need in a clear and supportive way. Available 24-7, you can access these free learning sessions anytime – on your phone, computer, tablet, or even at your local library. You will find:
- Free information sessions on a variety of topics.
- A platform that can translate to over 20 languages using Google Translate or by setting your profile settings.
- Guidance and tips on how to safely and confidentially access the information you need through local libraries and safe computing practices.
- A virtual space to connect with professionals and community partners who are here to help.
